Deryk and Ali Engagement Photos

Okay, I know it is very common to hear photographers say that a couple they photograph is a really "fun couple", however, in the case of Deryk and Ali, they take this to a whole new level. I have some pretty shaky shots because I was laughing so hard at some points...they were a blast to spend an afternoon with and I am so looking forward to their wedding in September. If it is anything like their engagement shoot...it is going to be one heck of a good time!

Welcome to the wonderful world of curves!

To all of you photoshop experts out there....you know what I mean. For those of you that don't know what i'm talking about I'll provide a visual example of a photo straight out of the camera and one that I've adjusted the curves (in addition to a few other things as well) The results can be subtle or dramatic. I just recently came to understand how they really work and I am so excited to share some of the editing I've been doing with curves. Enjoy!

Tutu Cute!

Well I had the pleasure of working, or should I say playing with some fabulously cute little girls and some amazingly colorful and creative tutus. The tutus were compliments of Dawn Galloway of Childs Play Novelties. So many colors, so many outfits for these darling little girls. The weather was cooperative a bit sunny for my liking. But I learned a ton and am thankful for this invitation to try my hand at a commercial photo shoot! I have to share some of these amazing shots.
